Role and responsibilities

Job Mission 

In this role, you support the overall recruitment delivery for the sector Research & Development worldwide. You secure business’ interests throughout the whole candidate journey, from branding to onboarding and represent the Talent Acquisition function at the business tables. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensure seamless execution of Recruitment delivery for sector Research & Development and create transparency on progress to manpower targets via regular reporting for your key business and HR (Human Resources (HR)) Line stakeholders 
  • You translate business demand to supply solutions, understanding current and long-term demand makes recruitment delivery pro-active and enables us to find the best quality candidates. Based on demand forecasts, you connect all involved delivery partners: Employer Branding, Talent Engagement Programs, Talent Sourcing, Fix Recruitment, Flex Management, business and HR Line to align on the short- and longer-term supply solutions 
  • You initiate, drive and support continuous improvement programs on topics such as demand planning and feasibility, long-term workforce planning, D&I, process optimization, candidate experience 
  • You partner in Strategic Workforce Planning initiatives to translate longer term competence needs into the right sourcing solutions. Here you take an integrated Talent Management approach, fueling a buy-build dialogue.

  • Demand – supply alignment, short term and multi-year 
  • Transparency on feasibility of hiring demand and progress 
  • Support seamless recruitment delivery 
  • Manage escalations 
  • Recognized business partner on all levels in HR and business 
  • Set-up / support execution of global improvement projects, like internal mobility 

Education and experience

Bachelor's or master's degree

  • +10 years of work experience in an international, high-tech environment 
  • Experience or affinity with people management (via managerial, project, HR or recruitment related role) 
  • Experience or affinity with project management / continuous improvement 
  • Experience or affinity with recruitment (for example as hiring manager or HR manager)

  • Strong personality, able to drive change and convince highly opinioned people 
  • Stakeholder management: Easily builds relationships on all levels in the organization 
  • Strong focus on process execution and optimization, knows the details while understanding the broader context, easily shifts between short and long term 
  • Combines structured, pragmatic, hands on approach with, smart, conceptual view 
  • Critical but positive, can-do attitude, high persistence 
  • Data savvy: able to use data to drive decision making 
  • Ideal next step for business/HR/Recruitment professional who wants to take broader responsibility by leading global recruitment projects, build cross sector relationships and develop on related HR expertise areas like sourcing, selection, and onboarding
