About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our Corporate Debt Finance (CDF) team. CDF provides capital to asset managers and other non-bank financial institutions through structured credit facilities and capital market transactions. This position is on the Portfolio Management team and will primarily focus on monitoring and oversight of day-to-day deal booking and servicing including but not limited to:

In this role, you will:

Provide day-to-day oversight of syndicated facility administration including:

  • Ensuring notices are sent to syndicate banks
  • Borrowing/paydowns are processed by operations team
  • Billing notices are accurate and sent out in a timely manner

Coordinate closing of new facilities as well as facility amendments including:

  • Ensuring all necessary materials are ready on the day of closing
  • Acting as liaison between Wells Fargo operations team and syndicate banks
  • Assisting deal closer with facility administration until facility is setup with Agency Services deal administrator

Managing SyndTrak deal site management:

  • Monthly/quarterly facility reporting items
  • Borrowing/paydown notices
  • Legal documents

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 2+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1+ years in any of a collateral management, database management or reporting role
  • Experience with LIQ and Syndtrak systems
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel knowledge (VBA, Macro writing, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Solid problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong technical and analytical skills including financial analysis
  • High level of personal motivation; strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills needeld
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced production environment and juggle a variety of tasks
  • Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
