Manager, Licensing & Strategic Partnerships
The Manager, Licensing & Strategic Partnerships is responsible for managing Capcom’s licensed products across the continuously expanding brand portfolio with the goal of exceeding revenue targets and growth objectives.
The Manager, Licensing & Strategic Partnerships contributes to the development and management of licensing initiatives by constantly evaluating all new outbound licensing opportunities, presenting those opportunities to the company, and negotiating the most attractive deals possible in order to implement those opportunities. The Manager, Licensing & Strategic Partnerships works with Capcom’s marketing departments to execute merchandise marketing plans.
The primary objective will be to secure new streams of revenue by securing new licenses in untapped or underdeveloped categories. This position regularly liaises with licensing partners, marketing and internal departments within Capcom regarding licensed product sales and build Capcom’s brands and licensing portfolio.
The Manager, Licensing & Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for competitive and market viability analysis of all licensing opportunities. Position will assist the department by providing Licensing Strategies, prospecting lists for licensing initiatives, and by pitching and negotiating licensing deals. Manages Capcom’s Licensee relationship for all assigned licensees.
This position works closely with the eSports team to secure sponsorships for the Capcom Pro Tour and other eSports initiatives and manages key eSports partnerships.
