Technical Analyst – Oracle EBS & Integrated Business Systems

Oracle EBS Developer is a technical resource who is responsible for Oracle technical enhancements and support for Measurement Solutions. The successful applicant will serve as the liaison between the global Automation Solutions IT Teams, Business Unit IT and business teams while supporting IT projects or related technical changes

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Work on Oracle and other technical enhancements using OAF, Report Builder, XML/BI Publisher, and advanced PL/SQL.
  • Own and Enhance interfaces from Oracle EBS to an external system through PL/SQL using API calls/direct XML transfer.
  • Unit testing, documenting the detailed technical solution design, and training the relevant IT teams on the solution.
  • Work with Oracle Technical support on SR resolutions on a need basis.
  • Data conversion as needed.
  • Good understanding of EBS Modules such as Finance, SCM, and Manufacturing.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • 7-10 years of technical and development experience in developing Interfaces, Extensions, and customization activities for Oracle Applications Release 12 Implementation/Support.
  • Must have strong hands-on on developing Interfaces and conversions with Oracle EBS
  • Should have good knowledge in SCM/Finance/Manufacturing modules
  • Having Agile experience is plus
  • Should have EBS Modules Knowledge - Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, AP, AR, GL
  • Worked on XML-based Outbound Interfaces and REST APIs
  • Must have strong hands-on development experience in SQL and PLSQL
  • Development exposure in most of the Oracle development toolset – including PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher Reports, Workflow, OAF
  • Strong knowledge of Integration methodologies (FTP file transfers, Integration using MuleSoft, API's, etc).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Experience in systems analysis, gathering user requirements, and understanding and interpreting requirements Specifications
  • Experience in a version control system (PVCS Tool) and code deployment system (Kintana)
  • Experience with full Systems Development Life Cycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proven history of successful problem solving with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and implement tasks in a high-pressure environment as requested
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural, team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Worked in an MNC environment with experience of working with global countries desired

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Management or equivalent Experience
  • Oracle certifications if any will be added qualifications.
