Job Description

SmartRent is looking to hire a Revenue Operations Analyst. In this role, you will have the opportunity to tackle challenging business problems, support change and innovation within the Revenue organization, and play a key role in developing strategy, process, and analytics to drive key decision making. You will manage and harness the data used across Revenue teams to unlock growth opportunities, deliver ongoing analyses to guide funnel optimizations, increase sales efficiency, drive renewals, and help bring transparency to the performance of our business.

We’re looking for someone who has demonstrated the ability to quickly understand the core drivers of any business, analyze and generate insights from large and complex data sets, then help plan, lead and implement changes that improve overall efficiency. This position reports directly to our Senior Director of Analytics and will work alongside our team in our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Revenue Leadership to discover opportunities for process and methodology improvements while helping them run their business.
  • Create reports, dashboards and analytics to help track key performance indicators, integrated across Finance, Sales, and Marketing and Account Management, to ensure that business processes and systems are generating accurate data.
  • Optimize expansion sales, renewals, and operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement and system enhancements and industry standards sharing.
  • Support day-to-day inquiries from the Revenue teams, providing prompt and efficient resolution to a wide range of issues.
  • Work with Deal Desk to audit closed won deals daily to ensure that all bookings are accurately entered in Salesforce and also reconcile all bookings at month’s end to ensure that SmartRent is able to report on prior month’s results in a timely manner.
  • Provide front line support for other operational functions including quote creation, discount approvals, and pipeline management to provide Sales Reps support for common business situations.
  • Work closely with other team members across Finance, Accounting, TechOps, etc. to further develop metrics, performance indicators, analytics, and dashboards to provide performance measurement and drive business performance through deep business insight.
  • Promote data integrity through duplicates management and filling data gaps.
  • Champion the use of technology, tools, and processes to maintain the source(s) of truth of our Sales, Marketing and Account Management data.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Business Operations role supporting Sales and Account Management teams.
  • Strong Salesforce experience.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, data management, dashboard creation, and business intelligence skills with experience working in Salesforce.
  • Advanced Excel Skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data visualization).
  • Skilled at interpreting complex business documents/reports, building and presenting process documentation and training.
  • Can use advanced data analysis skills to improve understanding of business metrics while working proactively to identify and address limitations.
  • Ability to effectively analyze data, identify trends and present findings to business leaders in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Eagerness and ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sales & Account Management tech stack a plus (CPQ, Inspire Planner, ZoomInfo, Groove, Gong, Hubspot, etc.).
