This is what you will do:

As the Director of Digital Experience, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and improving global digital interactions between our organization and key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and patients. Leveraging your expertise in digital strategy, business partnering, and technology, you will own the development and execution of initiatives to elevate our digital presence and drive engagement across various digital platforms!

You will be responsible for:

  • The Director of Digital Experience and Strategy will be responsible for assisting of the strategy, definition, leadership, and direction of the Digital Experience (DEX) team; aligned to goals within RDU Global IT 
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams within IT, marketing, third-party partners, regulatory, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions into overall commercial marketing and IT strategy
  • Develop, deliver, and optimize digital experience projects (web, mobile, email, and connected systems) to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drive end-to-end management of the solution provided ensuring business requirements are collected and met
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of emerging technologies to play a proactive role in proposing strategic tools and approaches that enable better digital experiences for patients and HCPs
  • Work closely across the organization to align digital efforts with broader strategies to create and maintain a comprehensive roadmap
  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the DEX team
  • Share knowledge freely regarding strategy, market, and industry trends, developments, and standard methodologies
  • Successful performance requires imaginative and innovative approaches to diverse problems
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital initiatives

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Digital Marketing, Information Technology, Business, etc.)
  • 12+ years of proven experience in a senior-level digital role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • 4+ years of proven experience in a director level role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry having at least 2 direct reports.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing digital strategies that drive engagement to achieve business goals
  • Consistent track record of implementing, running, and delivering successful digital projects
  • Adaptability to a multicultural environment, valuing diversity within a virtual distributed team environment
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience leading and delivering digital engagement capabilities and platforms
  • Experience leading agile teams

We would prefer for you to have:

  • Understanding of regulatory considerations related to digital marketing in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Passion for process improvement and solution identification
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively 
  • Commercially focused, high levels of energy
  • Flexibility to undertake travel where required
  • Service-oriented
  • Experience with GDPR, privacy, legal and impact on digital initiatives
