Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a Technical Writer & Editor to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Work Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland

What you will do (day in the life):

  • Heavy focus on collaboratively editing technical documentation and deliverables in a fast-paced, proposal-like environment.
  • Works collaboratively in all facets of writing, editing, and review processes.
  • Writes and edits technical documentation & deliverables for internal and external customers.
  • Provides technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness of content.
  • Organizes configuration of text and graphics. Writes, edits and proofreads technical text and graphics.
  • Identifies and applies applicable standards to documentation. Conducts reviews and coordinates projects to successful conclusion.
  • Verifies consistency and clarity of communication. Develops concepts and proposals for new content management.
  • Defines content organization, nomenclature and navigation systems for multifaceted projects.
  • Provides expertise related to emerging trends and technology in the writing industry.
  • Develops concepts and proposals for new content management delivery systems, processes and technological advances.
  • Provides guidance on message development content, strategy and tools.
  • Identifies and recommends high-level communication solutions and key message strategies.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience (or Master’s Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience).
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph adjudicated within the last 5 years.
  • Extensive expertise in writing and editing technical documentation and deliverables.
  • Extensive expertise with Microsoft Word for professional document creation, editing, and review.
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative work environment.
  • Enthusiastic about teamwork and collective ownership.
  • Familiar with classification markings & policies.

Summary Pay Range: Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$104,000 - $127,600
