TV Quality Assurance Expert

Your place in the team 

Responsible for the development and execution of exploratory and automated service tests to ensure the quality of TV product. 

Understand the customer's perspective on the experience of TV services and provide the right tools to measure them.

You will be involved in the following tasks 

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of errors 
• Train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Monitor TV Service KPIs and assure that any deviation from internal targets is analyzed and properly followed up
• Continuously improve the KPIs and insights to assure they reflect the customer experience.

We are looking for you if you have 

• Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, Automation and Computers, Informatics 
• Proven work experience in quality assurance
• High level of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of telecoms and video broadcast technologies, in particular technical skills, on IPTV, DVB, Data Networks, Value Added Services
• Ability to understand marketing needs and market evolution
• >3 years professional experience
