We are looking for a self motivated individual to supervise, implement, and monitor quality control and quality assurance programs covering all aspects of the facility's Quality Management System. This position will be responsible for reporting and communicating quality related issues with facility operations team, senior management, and when necessary, directly engaging with our valued customers. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree, Bachelor of Science preferred. Education requirement may be waived in lieu of ten years quality experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years QA/QC experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. QA/QC experience may be waived in lieu of ten years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Individual will supervise, implement and monitor the implementation of FGS quality control and quality assurance programs covering all aspects of the Quality Manual.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Predominantly indoors, mixture of office and factory. Domestic travel for customer site visits, supplier visits and training expected to be approximately 5%. 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as Management Representative for the facility.
  • Define responsibilities of QA/QC personnel and assign individual tasks as required.
  • Prepare and submit monthly management review reports to Director of Quality.
  • Oversee document control activities to ensure compliance is maintained.
  • Perform internal quality system audits and inter-facility audits and supplier assessments.
  • Participate in Material Review Board activities
  • Ensure continued compliance to API Spec Q1 and/or ISO 9001, API 15HR and relevant FGS internal procedures.
  • Perform failure analysis and prepare written reports in response to Quality Action Requests.
  • Work with plant engineering and production departments in support of continuous improvement activities.
  • Administer Management of Change and Risk Assessment activities.
