Identify breakthrough ideas through a deep understanding of VW Group’s strategies and industry trends in the field of In Car applications and Mobility services.
Champion a compelling story of innovation across VW Group to inspire main stakeholders within the organization.
Create and lead the process for selecting, testing, and tracking top ideas for technical experimentation and implementation.
Technical program lead creating product roadmaps.
Must be able to articulate vision and influence decision making outcomes with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and the customer
Leading multiple cross disciplined project teams to develop and implement innovative ideas in the areas of Infotainment and connected vehicles concepts
Partner with external companies within Silicon Valley
Document and summarize project progress for Top Management reports
Serving as a communication link between VW , Audi and Porsche R&D Germany
Intellectual property creation.

Main responsibility – 70% of time spent
Design, develop and identify new technology for Smart Mobility concepts and features on Navigation, Maps and or speech technology
Define technical requirements for in-vehicle features.
Tracking ideas and their impact, and infusing the outcomes of proof of concepts into real products.
Partnership with external companies in Silicon Valley to bring disruptive technology and influence existing Project Portfolio.
Identify new features for future vehicle models and conduct competitor benchmarks.
Additional responsibilities – 30% of time
Manage Project related operations such as: Purchasing orders, documentation, logistics for national or international technology events, coordination of related workshops with main stakeholders and potential companies.

Years of Experience:
1-3 years of related experience
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science , EE, ME, Engineering or equivalent
Education Desired: Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration

Great leadership skills and ability to inspire team members with an innate ability to see the bigger picture.
Good technical evaluation skills.
Experience working in a dynamic multi-disciplined engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking.

Strong presentation and communication skills required
Ability to understand and extract action plans from complex technical discussions and translate into succinct messaging for cross-functional and executive status reporting.

Required Specialized Skills
Experience on design, development and experimentation of Intelligent Systems for Automotive i.e : Navigation, Speech recognition, Connected Car. Mobility Service or similar technology.
Technical architectural knowledge of automotive infotainment systems or similar products
Customer centric approach to develop meaningful products
Experience on algorithms in the domain of navigation, mobility services, speech, Internet of Things or similar technology
Understands the value of communications to a complex global organization and consistently finds ways to maximize effectiveness of key messages
Exceptional technical project management and organization skills to handle multiple projects and initiatives, tracking ideas and their impact, and infusing the outcomes of proof of concepts into real products.
Experience with Agile or similar methodologies.
Strong initiative and excellent team and conflict resolutions skills
Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Desired Specialized Skills
Experience on Android Car API, Cars Services, Vehicle network Services and HAL
Experience in R&D-Centers.
Strong technical consulting background
Technical knowledge with one or some of the main OS like: Android, iOS. Linux, FireFox.
Experience as a Software Architect.
Experience with mobility services.
Experience in Automotive.
Readiness for international business trips to visit Audi AG, Volkswagen AG, Porsche AG
Flexibility to travel within US, Europe and Japan.
