As an ARMO Technician, you will be providing high-quality maintenance services as part of the Liners, Completions and Wellbore Interventions Team at the Baker Hughes facility in Jandakot. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects and develop innovations. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral part in our business.

As an Assembly, Repair, Maintenance & Overhaul (ARMO) Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Disassembling, Assembling, Testing, Torquing of rental tools in accordance with internal procedures and processes.
  • Following all procedures and processes for disassembly, assembly as part of the ‘redress cycle’ including torquing and testing requirements.
  • Ensure all data is accurately filled in electronically and uploaded in the system. 
  • Analyzing and interpreting data from inspection tests and troubleshooting equipment problems.
  • Collaborate with larger team within Engineering and Reliability groups.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Technical diploma or associate degree in electrical or mechanical field or equivalent.
  • Have at least 5 years maintenance related experience
  • Have ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
  • Have proficiency in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes.
  • Have proficiency in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments.
  • Have advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems. Have advanced skills in soldering and assembling of electro-mechanical devices.
  • Have advanced computer skills.
