The Digital Marketing department is looking for a Front End Developer Intern to join their team in Eden Prairie, MN! The Front-End Developer Intern will work with our Digital Marketing Team to make key contributions to the design, development, and implementation of secure, reliable, scalable, and high performing features and functionality to Cambria websites and emails. Applicants must have excellent project management and communication skills. Having experience working within a marketing department is highly desired.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • The qualified candidate will work primarily within the company’s Digital Marketing team to:
  • Leverage development skills to build and launch cross-browser, cross-device compatible pages and emails in the Cambria environment
  • Maintain existing code base and assets
  • Experience working within an AGILE methodology
  • Excellent working knowledge of web development best practices and web accessibility

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of UI, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions/ standards, and UI/UX technologies (HTML5, CSS, Sass)
  • Understanding of mobile and web-based design constraints, web browsers and their differences
  • Aptitude and eagerness to learn and solve problems
  • Top Skills Preferred: CSS, HTML, JavaScript frameworks, client-side scripting
  • Preferred skills: Java, Web Services (REST, SOAP), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Working towards a degree in a relevant field of study with an expected graduation date of 2024, 2025, or 2026

Experience: 1-year experience in a related field preferred

Systems: Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Zoom

Internship Program Dates: May 20 - August 9, 2024

Additional Requirements:

Managerial Responsibilities: None

Travel Requirements: Local travel may be required between Cambria locations

Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily. Must be able to stand, bend and twist while performing service work.
