The IT Lead for Corporate Finance (Control, Tax, Shared Services) will be responsible for partnering with the business to develop the strategy and implement key solutions to support the business as well as ensuring stability of the systems and platforms needed to support ongoing business operations. This business facing role will interact with all facets of IT, such as Enterprise Architecture, DevSecOps, Information Security, etc. Additional partnerships with IT finance, procurement, legal and 3rd Party vendor teams will be a must to ensure existing solutions are enhanced and maintained to ensure stable business support. 

As an IT Lead, you will leverage your interpersonal, emotional intelligence, communication, and technology skills to:

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business and other IT teams to drive resolution of day-to-day business issues and escalate to IT and Business leadership as appropriate
  • Engage with Enterprise Solutions DevSecOps and Third-Party Vendors on Technology solutions to support business capability roadmaps as needed
  • Engage with the Information Security team to ensure appropriate vetting of new Third party vendors that integrate with Legacy Applications 
  • Collaborate with Business and IT teams to help define and drive strategy for future business capabilities
  • Partner with Business teams across finance, tax, and financial shared services to help define, prioritize, and maintain 3-5 year Business Capability Roadmaps that support business strategy
  • Act as the IT Lead to drive digital transformation that enhance business capabilities
  • Assess our current Agile/DevSecOps maturity and set clear targets to drive the transformation journey
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with business leaders in Corporate Finance functional areas (e.g., Corporate Control, Tax, financial shared services) and IT colleagues across DevSecOps, CTO, Infrastructure and Operations, Information Security, and other Corporate & Global Function IT groups
  • Partner with business functional leads to compile, distill and secure alignment on business requirements, use cases, process flows, overall IT scope and assumptions
  • Drive pursuit work from concept through scope definition, IT estimations, Capex document formation, funding approvals, and project creation
  • Stay abreast of internal technology platforms and solutions relevant to supported functions and external technology/solutions trends relevant to the finance function
  • Act as the principal technology advisor to business partners and a champion for identifying, leading and driving information technology transformation
  • Partner with relevant business and IT stakeholders to clearly define business requirements for technology solution ideas
  • Drive the end-to-end proposal lifecycle from idea through approval, working with delivery teams to plan and estimate work
  • Function as a major contributor in the IT Annual Operating Plan development process as well as the Out of Cycle funding process
  • Act as point of escalation when unexpected issues and/or new requirements are surfaced and tactfully guide those issues to resolution

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • 10+ years working in an IT or technical business facing role
  • Ability to collaborate with IT, vendor, and business teams working at remote locations
  • Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to think strategically and see how parts interact with the big picture
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization to persuade and influence decision making of key business and IT stakeholders
  • Strong emotional intelligence and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to communicate technical or complex subject matter to senior leaders in simple business language
  • A proactive and highly organized individual capable of successfully managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and a proven track record of delivering results while managing competing and conflicting priorities
  • Strategic thinker who can find opportunities to deliver business value through use of technology
  • Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, distilling, and summarizing business requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher emphasizing Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or Finance
  • Experience working in a finance function or an IT organization supporting finance
  • Trained/certified in Agile methodology (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe POPM)
  • Technical savvy and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across the globe to deliver successful technology projects
  • Experience working with IT managed services and/or business processing outsourcing environments
  • Proven track record of effectively navigating diverse stakeholder groups with different points of view to achieve alignment
  • Strong understanding of PepsiCo's digital platforms
