Overview
We are looking for a Technical Writer who can create technically accurate and grammatically correct documents for our products.
At TNS/AGNITY, you will get an opportunity to work on high-quality documents that meet international standards. You will collaborate with a highly talented technical team of developers, quality engineers, and project managers.
Responsibilities

- Quickly learn and use the AGNITY documentation standards, minimalist style of technical writing, methodologies, and tools
- Follow defined AGNITY processes
- Work closely with the Engineering teams to understand the documentation requirements
- Play with the Product and gain real-time product experience
- Gather information by researching and reading engineering documents like Functional Specifications, Design documents, etc.
- Create documentation plan and content structure according to the product and release requirements
- Create and maintain the following types of technical documents:
- Administration guides
- Provisioning guides
- Installation guides
- User guides
- Reference guides
- Product description guides
- Developer guides
- Training material
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets the company standards and customer requirements
- Deliver document releases within the committed deadlines
- Maintain the documentation repository of the source and published documents
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum one year of proven experience in technical writing.
- Freshers with good inclination to technical writing could also be considered for this position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker and MS Office
- Basic familiarity with graphics software like MS Visio, SnagIT, etc.
- Basic familiarity with Document Development Life Cycle (DDLC)
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in content and pictures.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and as a good team player.
