What’s the scope?

This role is responsible for leading the payroll function in EMEA to deliver world-class payroll support and services to our EMEA employees.

The role will partner closely with various internal as external stakeholders as HRBPs, Accounting, Tax authorities, pension and insurance providers. Additionally, the role will manage the relationship with the outside payroll provider.

The payroll manager will coach and manage the local Payroll coordinators and will participate as a SME in various HR/payroll projects.

Your responsibilities as our Payroll Manager EMEA;

  • Lead EMEA payroll operations to provide accurate and efficient payroll services to our EMEA employees
  • Manage a team of payroll coordinators and act as Payroll specialist in various projects.
  • Partner closely with various internal stakeholders to ensure payroll is processed as per defined procedures (HRBPs, Total Rewards, Accounting and Finance)
  • Manage all employee benefits admin and contact with 3rd party providers (Pension, Insurances,..)
  • Manage the vendor relationship with the external payroll provider
  • Oversee calculation of annual Time-Off entitlements (Vacation, holidays and compensation days) and ensure correct upload into Workday
  • Ensure correct administration of payroll related policies & procedures, compliant with local legislation. Including accurate year-end filing and completion of all tax & reporting obligations

Skills for Success:

  • Degree in HR/Payroll/Accounting
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll and HR admin, experience in multiple country payroll processing is a plus
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Good understanding in local legislations, tax, social security, union agreements, etc., Especially Belgium.
  • Service excellence, customer orientation, detail oriented
