Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent for the organization. This role involves developing and executing effective recruiting strategies in alignment with business strategies and directions, building strong relationships with hiring managers, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and monitoring external market trends. The Talent Acquisition Manager will be working closely with senior leadership, HRBPs and other HR teams to ensure we have the right talents at the right time. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a talent advisor and strategic partner, set up recruitment strategies for client groups and successfully manage the end-to-end recruitment process to hire best in class and most suitable people to achieve long term and short term business strategy of the Walt Disney Company.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and effectively coach hiring managers in recruitment and selection processes.
  • Use innovative sourcing channels to convert hard to find passive talent including social media, resume mining, diversity resources and networking.
  • Conduct in-depth screening and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications and compensation requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and promote competitive brand advantage and employment value proposition of the company. 
  • Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process..
  • Accurately track and report recruitment activity data to monitor and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the hiring process and practices.
  • Stay updated on and share industry trends, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies with relevant teams and senior leadership. 
  • Challenges status quo and find improvement opportunities with hiring process and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations in all recruitment activities.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of work experience, with 4+ years of experience in a full-cycle in-house recruitment from Media/Entertainment and/or Consumer Products industries. Search firm experience is a plus. 
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
  • Experience with direct sourcing and managing external agencies. 
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
  • Ability to exemplify the Disney values and share those values with our candidates.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, act with Integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • self-driven, eager to learn, open and collaborative.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are the norm.
  • Strong execution ability and drive for result.
  • Experience with working in a matrix organization is a plus.
  • Native-like Korean and business fluency in English is a must.
