SAIC is seeking a motivated Master Scheduler to join our team of diverse Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) Enterprise Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) experts. This position is in Colorado Springs, CO. The PNT SE&I Team provides engineering, technical analysis and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to the Global Positioning System (GPS) program supporting the Integrated Mission Delta (IMD). As a member of our IMD SE&I team, you’ll work in a high-paced environment with Space Force personnel and system developers to ensure GPS remains the gold standard for position, navigation and timing.

Major duties of this position include:

  • Development of an Integrated Mission Delta (IMD) Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) – a product linking multiple schedule products, an Enterprise Integrated Master Plan (EIMP), and a database of Giver/Receiver dependencies
  • Track and report progress on the accomplishment of schedule events through capability delivery. Identify and evaluate critical program milestones, integrated master schedules, and cross program dependencies
  • Identify project schedule problem areas using analytical capabilities to identify schedule conflicts and discrepancies in order to assess enterprise-level schedule impacts
  • Assist team to develop and maintain weekly and monthly status reports to keep management informed on project progress. Present master schedule data and reports (critical path, schedule risks, and impacts) to program office leadership, including analysis of primary/secondary critical paths and margin
  • Identification and management of key schedule dependencies between GPS segments, development contractors, and external stakeholders

Creation of automated reporting templates and routine generation of reports using third-party tools and custom scripts

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Science or Engineering or related field
  • Must have at least (6) six years of experience of related space systems experience or (4) four years of experience with a Masters degree
  • 3+ years experience with MS Project
  • Must be US Citizen
  • 3+ years experience working directly with Government Program Offices to provide schedule deliverables
  • Capable of performing work under general direction, participate in determining and management of objectives, and be able to plan and schedule activities to accomplish objectives
  • Fundamental knowledge of common schedule analysis techniques, methods and off-the-shelf tools
  • Proven experience building templates to produce automated schedule reports, schedule summary views, and briefing charts
  • Effective communicator with excellent writing and briefing skills
  • Able to function in a dynamic organization and communicate within a team environment and be able to facilitate and lead status meetings
  • Active Secret Security Clearance

Exceptional candidates will have the skills and experience listed below:

  • Experience with developing and planning test schedules for large systems
  • Experience with Chronicle Graphics OnePager Pro, KIDASA Milestone Professional, Barbecana Full Monte software
  • 5+ years’ experience with Government satellite or software programs
  • 5+ years’ experience integrating events between schedules produced by different organizations or companies
  • 3+ years’ experience managing schedules for large technical projects
  • 5+ years’ overall experience leading the creation of schedules and processes to manage them

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
