A Snapshot of Your Day

In this internship you will lead and support multiple projects to enhance the employee experience. This internship will provide mentorship, soft and technical skills training, and networking to learn more about the Siemens Energy organization and Human Resources department.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support the Employee Engagement project team with: identifying and completing applications through partnering with Inclusion & Diversity and Environmental, Health, and Safety teams
  • Other internal and external branding initiatives
  • Support with action planning from recent employee engagement survey
  • Evaluate, compare, and contrast the different incentive plans and provide a recommendation
  • Support various process designs
  • Other projects and tasks

What You Bring 

  • Pursing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on Human Resources, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Psychology, Business, or similar.
  • Rising sophomore or junior, or grad student
  • Advanced digital literacy with MS Office (word, excel, power point); Office 365 preferred
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate innovation and forward-thinking proficiency through previous school projects, employment, or extracurricular activities
  • Experience with presenting in front of small and large groups
  • Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and have relevant prior work experience
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Our North American HR team supports the business priorities and provides guidance and consultation on change management, talent management, succession planning, I&D initiatives, market considerations and coaching.
