The opportunity

We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Product Marketer to join our team at Chord, a leading Customer Data Platform for modern commerce brands. You’ll join a growing team that is building a platform to empower modern and omnichannel brands with smart technology, unique customer experiences, and insightful data.

As a Product Marketer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our product by developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive product awareness, generate leads, and support the sales process. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will report to the Director of Marketing, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product, and Customer Success.

Our company is proudly remote-first, distributed across North America.

As a Product Marketer, you will:

  • Develop compelling and informative content such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and webinars to showcase the value proposition of our Customer Data Platform.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that aligns with the buyer's journey and addresses key pain points of our target audience.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all content channels
  • Create sales collateral, presentations, and product documentation to enable the sales team to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to prospects and customers.
  • Develop sales tools and resources to support the sales process, including product demos, FAQs, and competitive battlecards.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and market insights to inform product positioning, messaging, and feature prioritization.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats, and make recommendations for strategic adjustments.
  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, feature releases, and updates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful product launches, including marketing, sales, product management, and customer success teams.
  • Develop messaging and positioning that differentiates our product in the market and resonates with our target audience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and demand generation.
  • Identify opportunities for targeted marketing initiatives based on segmentation, industry verticals, and customer personas.
  • Develop and refine the product messaging and positioning to effectively communicate the value proposition, key benefits, and competitive differentiation of our platform.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, and customer success teams to gather insights and customer feedback to inform messaging strategies.
  • Craft compelling narratives and value propositions tailored to various buyer personas, industry verticals, and use cases.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing channels, including website, marketing collateral, social media, and sales presentations.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in product marketing or content marketing within the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • To be a strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
