Your Role

We seek an experienced Architectural Designer to collaborate with the entire studio and support teams in developing design solutions and coordinating projects. Leverage your industry expertise, design abilities, and technical acumen to drive projects from concept to construction.

You are a passionate professional who combines creativity, technical knowledge, and business skills to produce functional and beautiful spaces for clients. With exceptional design skills and a background in architecture, you will contribute as an integral member of the design team, actively participating in conceptual thought processes and design exploration.

What You Will Do

  • Support project design and delivery, working with design and technical directors.
  • Participate in and lead conceptual design, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and production.
  • Collaborate with the design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
  • Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings.
  • Oversee and deliver documents with design intent and top-notch technical quality.
  • Utilize hand rendering techniques and proficiency in 3D software to communicate design concepts.
  • Select and research building materials and generate material specifications.
  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.
  • Establish and maintain productive client relationships.
  • Fulfill other assigned responsibilities.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture.
  • 5+ years of project experience in an architectural practice, including demonstrated success as an architectural designer on large-scale and complex projects. 
  • Demonstrable experience in large-scale and complex projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit and Rhino is a must.
  • Knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full knowledge of architectural principles and practices.
  • Strong concept designer with a solid design process.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process, including post-occupancy.
  • Ability to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
  • Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Collaborative and team-conscious.
  • Ability to maintain client relationships and build new ones through successful project delivery.
