What you'll do

As the GTM Strategy & Operations Director - Partner Ecosystem, you will be a highly visible and independent thought leader, mentor, and operator playing a key role in leading and scaling the Partner Sales Strategy & Ops team. You will work on topics that range from transformational sales strategy to the nuts and bolts of sales operations. You will do this by leading a small team of Business Analysts through a combination of analytical insight, strong intuition for business, and robust cross-functional partnerships with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, etc.

In this role you will partner with the GVP of DocuSign’s Partner business in one of the company’s most strategic organizations. You will work closely with Business Development Leadership to set sales strategy and medium/long term goals for the business. You will work closely with the Business Development, Sales, Go-to-Market Operations, Marketing and Finance teams to develop KPIs that can be tracked and measured as part of Partner and Field team reporting and dashboards. You will also help drive operational rigor, including sales forecasting, quota setting, and building our annual plan.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Partner Operations.

Responsibility

  • Become the go-to expert on the areas of the business you support, including all partner types: Resell & Distribution, Strategic Alliances, GSI, SI & Services, CSP and ISV’s
  • Identify key opportunities for business improvement through analytics, quantitative insights, and good business sense
  • Bring thought leadership and strategic thinking to projects ranging from go-to-market design to internal operations
  • Collaborate with GTM Operations and WWFO leadership to drive the business forward
  • Conceptualize and execute projects to improve our go-to-market engine
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy
  • Assist with ad hoc requests and projects from the sales organization

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic 

  • 15+ years of analytical experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate analytical roles
  • 5+ years supporting channel Resell, SI, ISV) sales teams 
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred 

  • MBA 
  • Experience working closely with senior sales leaders, prior exposure to high-growth work environments, and a strong understanding of SaaS business models and go-to-market principles
  • Effective, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and self confidence
  • Well-developed ability to bring structured thinking into highly ambiguous and open-ended problem situations, then strive to consensus

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $165,800 - $265,625 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $157,900 - $223,075 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $157,900 - $234,275

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
