Training Specialist Advisor

HOW A TRAINING SPECIALIST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Develops advanced training solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
  • Contributes to the completion of major training programs and may function in a project leadership role.
  • Collaborate with Directorate Task Managers to identify training needs and develop training plans to address these needs.
  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs that align with customer objectives, utilizing various training methods and tools, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training.
  • Advises and makes improvement recommendations of the delivery of on-site and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or employees. 
  • Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, training manuals, and e-learning content. Applies advanced knowledge for the planning and designing of instructional methods and materials.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Identifies training needs and recommends advanced training solutions by working with business leaders and critical stakeholders.
  • Develops advanced measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions.
  • Tracking customer training requirements.
  • Provide PMO monthly report of individuals reaching customer training deadlines.
  • Proactive engagement with DTM's and program resources to ensure compliance is received.
  • Pull new requirements for the Resource Manager as necessary.
  • Pull weekly resource report for transfer.
  • May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Human Resources, or Organizational Development).
  • Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience.
  • Proven experience as a Training Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
