Salesforce Marketing Cloud seeks an exceptional Senior Product Manager to lead a team delivering SMS messaging capabilities. In this pivotal role, you will drive the development and evolution of SMS delivery capabilities that help marketers engage customers on the right device with the right message at the right time.

Broadly, this role is critical to the success of bringing Marketing Cloud technology onto the Salesforce Einstein 1 platform - a top priority for the company this year.

We need an exceptional Product Manager to:

  • Drive innovation that helps businesses worldwide engage their customers over SMS - considering the relevant legal and financial constraints in various regions. In particular, this product manager will help deliver SMS messaging delivery capabilities fit for US Public Sector companies.
  • Be an expert on the domain, the market, the trends. Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned, have context and understand where we are going.
  • Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of Marketing Cloud customers. Build impactful, personal customer relationships. Bring the customer’s voice into the creation process.
  • Drive for the best customer experience possible. Work closely with UX to develop, test, and deliver assets to engineering.
  • Measure success. A feature’s release does not constitute success. Define what success means for each feature and each function before it even goes to development. Develop ways to constantly define and monitor success.
  • Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Product Managers play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders. A collaborative attitude is essential to the job.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently. Define expectations for engineering teams and hold them accountable to success and failures. Work closely with Product Marketing Managers to promote your products both internally and externally and ensure a cohesive message.

Required qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience on a SaaS product
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Ability to be both hands-on, drilling down to the details and also seeing the bigger picture and being visionary
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing product features or solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills to align the organization around prioritization and delivery of product roadmap

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with marketing technology, CRM, and digital marketing is a plus.
  • Experience working with an Engineering Team and in Agile methodology.
  • Ability to create UX and conceptual examples through wireframes and mockups.
