The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of Jira Governance & Support Team, a Lead Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with other IT SMEs and the Jira user community to ensure the continuous improvement of our Jira implementation. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the role Jira plays in supporting DTCC’s Project Management and System Delivery Process. The Lead Business Systems Analyst identifies improvements to the DTCC Enterprise Jira Standard (EJS) through thoughtful analysis, outlining problems, and writing proposals for improvement solutions while continuously developing your skills as a Jira subject matter expert.

What You’ll Do

• Produce functional specifications and supporting documentation by analyzing business requirements.
• Write and implement test cases for assigned work products.
• Lead workflow design and chip in to user experience design.
• Collaborate with project team, product management, and stakeholders on assigned aspects of the project.
• Review target delivery schedules with related collaborators.
• Contribute to system documentation under company-specific best practices and standards.
• Recommend controls by identifying gaps and crafting solutions to automate manual processes.
• Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; brings up appropriately

Sounds Like You?

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience with commercial software development and/or service/infrastructure teams
• Relevant experience includes Jira, Project Management (Scrum, Kanban, and Phased/Waterfall), Requirements Definition, Test Case Development/Execution
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

• Experience working on large scale improvement projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from a user community
• Experience working with a defined System Delivery Process
• Ability to adopt a collaborative approach to requirements development and refinement
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating collaboration, innovation, and excellence
• CSM, PMP or other relevant industry certification (preferred)
