Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:
A Business Transformation Consultant assigned to this position is expected to have the proven experience and knowledge in the areas of Finance and Procurement Services including (finance process redesign, Finance transformation, Finance Digital transformation, Planning and Forecasting, F&A SSC, Target Operating Model Design) needed to ensure the successful delivery of consulting services and leading to high client satisfaction. This requires the capability to oversee the largest and most complex services engagements in their area of expertise and to demonstrate an expert understanding of the appropriate methods and skills to be used. They are expected to contribute to the growth of intellectual capital within their practice area and to support the development of other consultants through participation in mentoring or coaching activities. They are expected to establish trusted long-term relationships with clients through engagement activities. Focus would be to lead large Finance / procurement transformation engagements.
What you’ll do:
This position requires the skills needed to test hypotheses and conclusions leading to the development of innovative client deliverables in a manner that supports and reinforces effective teaming within the engagement. This position is required to be client-facing, with primary requirement to drive project delivery in the Finance / Procurement area spanning across strategy, process, advanced analytics, optimization and finance / procurement solutions. As delivery lead / subject matter expert, the candidate is expected to drive client billable engagements. They are expected to identify new business opportunities and to provide strong assistance to IBM in the winning of that business. Must be familiar with the contractual requirements for their area of practice and be capable of drafting and reviewing responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP).

Individuals will participate in, and / or be responsible for the creation, harvesting, protection and reuse of IBM’s intellectual capital in the procurement and associated domains. They will participate actively in knowledge sharing activities like communities of practice, forums, conferences and / or other knowledge exchanges.
Discharges basic management responsibilities and assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
