The role

SoftwareOne provides its services to customers through local delivery units and various remote delivery centers. The "Director Service Delivery Center Sofia" is responsible for the entire delivery location in Sofia, overseeing over 130 employees with a focus on Growth, People, Operations, and Leadership.

Responsibilities:

Growth:

  • Lead remote project delivery, ensuring alignment with internal SLAs and customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Contribute to budgeting and business planning processes to meet Sofia Delivery Center’s (SDC) requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership in complex customer engagements to achieve SoftwareOne's business objectives.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to engage team members in chargeable customer engagements.

People:

  • Lead and collaborate with the SDC team and peers from other Delivery Centers sites.
  • Hire and retain talented team members to meet evolving business needs.
  • Drive performance management for team members and facilitate regular feedback sessions.
  • Mentor team members and support their professional development.
  • Engage team members in internal initiatives to foster engagement and excitement.
  • Ensure a positive environment where team members can grow and advance in their careers.

Operations:

  • Collaborate with Customer Service Delivery Leads to enhance capabilities and competitiveness.
  • Implement and contribute to continuous improvement of the SDC Framework.
  • Manage the site's financials in compliance with SoftwareOne's operating model.
  • Lead a Business Enablement team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain operational excellence across disciplines.
  • Ensure adequate delivery capacity to meet sales pipeline and project demands.
  • Manage team members' utilization and seek additional chargeable work.
  • Support the resolution of service delivery escalations.
  • Oversee facility management and employee well-being.

Leadership:

  • Serve as a role model for SoftwareOnes Culture and share best practices across the organization.
  • Evangelize the SDC model and remote delivery capability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adapt accordingly.

What we need to see from you

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in pre-sales and/or service delivery in international environments in the area of cloud business.
  • Leadership experience in complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in attracting and retaining tech talent.

Business Skills:

  • Confident leader with strong motivation and results orientation.
  • Proficient in P&L management and financial acumen.
  • Comfortable with matrix organizational models and stakeholder management.
  • Skilled in strategic thinking and tactical execution.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator.
