Job scope :

The SC Finance team is seeking a qualified business partner to support the Mashreq finance team and will be based in Algeria. Supply Chain Finance BP, responsible on Controlled Cost budgeting & forecasting and partnering our SC team. Key stakeholders are all SC teams (Factories, Logistics and Planning,), Costing team, Category Finance BP, Control teams and CCBT’s.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Ownership of full Logistics, SC Indirect and Business Waste P&Ls for Maghreb Countries
  • Monitoring financial forecasting activities for the above cost elements
  • Providing insights, commentaries, and in-depth analysis during MEC & forecasting cycles
  • Responsibility for monthly reporting and deliverables to the regional performance team (Actuals reporting, Bridges & Waterfalls, CoC impacts, etc.)
  • Sharing and tracking monthly actual performance with the logistics team
  • Acting as a key partner for Supply chain teams.
  • Following up on cost savings projects and initiatives
  • Evaluating risks & opportunities that the business might facing
  • Monthly preparation for Controllable costs performance including Production cost
  • Attending monthly forums discussions (NALI MEC meeting, Log and savings forums, etc.)
  • Driving and coordinating the Operation Plan process - Supporting the business for ad-hoc requests

Background needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or any related
  • Years of experience: not less 5 years
  • Previous experience in similar role in FMCG is preferred
  • Previous experience working across different countries

  • Previous experience working across different countries
  • Demonstrated strong written, presentation, and communications skills in English and ability to synthesize and present information effectively and tailored to different audiences
  • Excellent business judgment and problem-solving skills to identify issues, present creative, practical solutions, and make and commit to sound decisions, anticipating short- and long-term implications
  • High degree of diplomacy and sensitivity in dealing with different kind of stakeholders
  • Strong Communication skills at all levels
  • Strong Analytical skills and high accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
