Physical RequirementsRequires periods of sitting, standing, and walking. May require lifting/pushing/carrying objects up to 25 pounds.
ShiftSecond and Third shifts available: Evenings (3pm), and Nights (11pm). Hires will be given a set schedule of 20-40 hours per week after training. Every other weekend and rotating holidays are required. Some shifts may be eligible for differentials.
Hires will be cross-trained for both Chandler and Good Samaritan ED Registration areas.
On-call staff may have the opportunity to advance to a full time position if desired. On-call positions is a great way to get your foot in the door at UKHC ED Registration Department. Possibilities are unlimited.
Job SummaryPosition includes the following:
Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesHigh level of keyboarding accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations and provide excellent customer service. Ability to effectively prioritize work. Must have schedule flexibility.

Preferred Education/Experience
Prior patient registration experience preferred. Customer service background such as retail, call center, hospitality, etc., also very helpful.
