The Southern Company has flagged the Analyst, Senior Credit job as unavailable. Let’s keep looking.

As our Senior Credit Analyst based in Houston, Texas, you'll play a pivotal role in our Credit department, reporting directly to the VP of Credit. Every day, you'd dive deep into financial statements, assessing rating agencies' ratings and scores to figure out who gets the credit nod. On a daily basis you'd be the go-to person for our commercial and sales teams, especially when it comes to dishing out credit risk guidance. This means you'll always be in the loop, conducting "know your customer" evaluations on different structured entities. You'll be required to monitor and assesst the creditworthiness of our counterparties; sometimes you might need to tweak collateral or manage credit support like guaranties and letters of credit. Now, staying updated is key. You'd be on top of all the latest credit events, industry news, and, of course, our very own ENGIE credit department policies. And part of the gig involves making sure our team at ENGIE is up-to-date with credit department guidelines and training. It's all about keeping things aligned and running smoothly
