We find a roof over everyone's head - from offices to laboratories to industrial sites, we look after our sites worldwide in the Global Real Estate department. We are responsible for BASF's real estate management and ensure optimal use of the portfolio with our real estate services. Real estate initiatives as well as the purchase and sale of real estate are part of our work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Join our new team providing excellent property management services.

  • In this position you independently coordinate national and/or international Real Estate Transactions (acquiring, divesting, leasing, letting) from end-to-end, including the evaluation and negotiation of contracts.
  • You are responsible for Global Real Estate Projects, coordinate and supervise external service providers.
  • You render proactive professional support for all BASF sites under your responsibility in any aspect of real estate, including data maintenance and timely reporting.
  • You perform advanced financial analyses and real estate assessments and prepare a high-quality decision basis using existing templates to executive management.
  • You support in the development, coordination and execution of corporate real estate strategies, create standards and benchmarks, incl. state-of-the-art office workplace concepts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master Degree or equivalent, preferably in Real Estate Management, alternatively Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economics with postgraduate real estate-specific education
  • minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a good understanding of and interest in legal and commercial real estate matters, preferably in an international context
  • excellent knowledge on acquisition (purchase and lease), the management and the disposal (lease and sale) of cross-usage corporate real estate
  • Transaction Management skills, financial and analytical skills, contract law skills required as well as project leadership skills and strategic thinking
  • strong communication and presentation skills in German and English, any additional language is a plus

  • Gross annual salary (full-time): 53.000 - 56.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance.
