Business Operations Analyst

Job Summary:

  • This role is responsible for leading a broad range of complex supply chain processes for a large global business unit. The role improves current business processes and performance metrics by leading cross-functional regional and global business unit planning teams, and identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes. The role manages special projects and communicates requirements to large global business unit planning teams.

Business manager for EMEA Returns focusing on operational excellence and leading key initiatives to reduce returns

  • Owner for EMEA for Returns & deffective replacement processes
  • Represents EMEA in cross-functional projects actively working with other businesses focusing on proper claims management
  • Acts as the consultant on returns matters, providing recommendations based on relevant data analysis
  • Pushes for alternatives solutions to physical returns to EMEA
  • Pilots the operations team based in Bangalore; owns performance and ensure enhanced TCE and expected cost savings
  • Recommends or decides on claims approval or rejection based on business considerations
  • Manages escalations at all levels

Responsibilities:

The returns program manager will be responsible define programs to control, monitor, analyze, reduce and forecast the Returns rate of PS & Print products shipped throughout EMEA

  • With the support of Finance and EMEA team measure returns rates by sales channels, by product line, by country and publish dashboard on a monthly basis
  • Develop and manage the returns program roadmap involving key functions as Customer Ops, IT, Sales, Finance, Category…
  • Manage returns re-engineering projects
  • Develop and manage the process of management supporting key objectives
  • Ensure returns DOA models are communicated and understood by countries
  • Ensure returns model exist and or define and evolve these model and policy along with business and country evolution

The returns program manager will be also responsible for the deffective replacement program that allows hindering returns and so to control, reduce the Returns rate of PS & Print products shipped throughout EMEA.

  • Act as Subject Matter Export (SME) / Process owner & pilot Physical Claims. (6 FTE’s)
  • Act as Account Manager within EMEA. Ensure strong POM, RACI and manage QBR’s
  • Approve/reject deffective replacement & physical claims and high-value challenge returns in order to reduce the negative financial impact on P & L.

Deliverables:

  • Measure and publish deffective replacement & Physical claims reports
  • Define ad hoc improvement projects
  • Manage the EMEA roadmaps/POR
  • Drive and coordinate the overall projects up to the implementation

Education & Experience Recommended:

  • Bachelor and Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations)
