Purpose of Position

The Operations Manager, Service Hub Operations is responsible for performance of Site Manger teams who deliver Mission Ready aircraft for use by the operation, in compliance with all goals, SLAs, laws & regulations. The Operations Manager will lead their team & influence the MRO supply chain's achievement of the OOS targets and performance goals for unscheduled & line maintenance.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manages Service Hub/Line Station Site Managers and provides leadership that models the 20/20 Flight Plan and develops staff for succession and improved performance within their role. Maintaining a local presence and accessibility for team members on all shifts is important to the success of this role. The Operations Manager will build a just culture aligned with NetJets' 20/20 Flight Plan.
  • Will lead team and influence the MRO supply chain's achievement of the OOS targets and performance goals for unscheduled and line maintenance
  • For all Maintenance Events, the Operations Manager will adjust and align the plan, communicate changes, and follow through with all levels in the organization. Use innovation to deliver improvements in safety, service and financial targets as defined in NetJets' 20/20 Flight Plan.
  • Service Hub Event Planning – The Operations Manager will coordinate with Line Planning on capabilities of the Service Hub to ensure events have successful set-up plans. Coordinate with the Fleet Supervisors to ensure plans are documented and executed as directed by MCC.
  • Assists with MEL resolution by coordinating; vendor selection, schedule opportunity and appropriate downtime for repairs in conjunction with the Aircraft Maintenance department.
  • Maintains professional relationships with Service Hub suppliers to increase event duration efficiency, quality and performance to reduce out of service time while maintaining quality.
  • The Operations Manager is expected to work at the Service Hub location and will occasionally require that individual to provide coverage/support for PTO and/or other unplanned absences of their direct reports.
  • The Operations Manager will be required to coordinate or provide training to newly-hired direct reports to ensure that those individuals are set up for success. This will be done with a defined syllabus to ensure department alignment.
