ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Business Development Manager, DACH – Industry Partners will work with a variety of stakeholders in the hospitality industry (Investors, Developers, Analysts, Destination Management Organizations, Lenders, Operators, Organizations, Owners, Vendors, Governments, and others). They will work closely with the department Director to proactively develop, manage and retain relationships with clients across the DACH region through regular face to face meetings, phone, e-mail, and conference attendance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exceed annual revenue targets with a focus on subscription products.
  • Nurture client relationships through a deep understanding of how clients use STR data
  • Own the sales cycle: prospecting and discovery process, enrolment and training, and renewals
  • Collaborate with internal peers and stakeholders allowing for a client focused outcome
  • Develop strategic account plans for each client with a focus on migration from STR legacy products to CoStar
  • Be an ambassador for STR in the DACH region at key events and conferences, presenting the latest industry data, and staying up to date on industry news.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of sales and account management success – a background in hospitality is preferred but not essential
  • Fluency in German and English required for a professional setting
