So, what’s the role?
The Data Team’s mission is to develop an industry leading, modern data stack that enables Kin to expand our competitive advantage. The team is accountable for building out the central nervous system accountable for improving customer experience and navigating commercial outcomes. Our charter includes Data Engineering, Data Science, and Business Analytics. It is our responsibility to build world class data infrastructure, tooling, governance, analytics, insights, and models. Our vision for Kin is a data-empowered culture where everyone at Kin is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and resources to leverage data to drive business growth at scale.
Kin’s Product team is the fulcrum that takes our vision of what home insurance should be and makes it real. Our product leaders are responsible for the commercial success of our products. They straddle technology and all other business areas to ensure the right work is getting done.
We are currently looking for a Product Director to join our team. As a Product Director, you will drive and help articulate the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap of Data at Kin. You will do this by deeply understanding our Data opportunities, and collaborating very closely with our SVP of Data Science. You will need to have a strong history of collaborating across teams and organizations, including a heavy focus on business partnership, and data architecture.
Our ideal candidate has low ego, acts like an owner, and can run through walls to turn ambiguous opportunities into concrete plans while taking into account our overall commercial strategy.
You will be accountable for execution of our data strategy, and for directly managing a small team of one or more other product management folks, as well as collaborating with colleagues at all levels within the organization. You will drive key business results for our senior most stakeholders.
