About the Team

We are looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing human resources team. The global Monetization Integrity (MI) team ensures safe and quality experiences between users, creators, and businesses to enable TikTok in its mission to inspire joy and creativity. They're responsible for creating scalable and reliable solutions that allow TikTok users and businesses to interact in a trustworthy manner, always working to anticipate and protect against threats. Monetization Integrity's (MI) Vision: All monetized creativity on TikTok is Safe, Ethical, and High Quality. MI's Mission: To put user safety and advertiser experience at the center of commercial content on TikTok.

As an HR Business Partner, you will support your organization’s leaders and team across the entire talent lifecycle. The role will be expected to strategize and collaborate with corporate, local, and Center of Excellence (CoE) HR team members to identify growth opportunities, engage and retain employees through HR initiatives, and aid in establishing an efficient organizational design. To enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3-4 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

Specifically, you will:

  • Coach employees and teams on people-related matters including talent assessment, development and succession, organization effectiveness, and high-performing team dynamics.
  • Enhance employee development & management throughout the year by providing coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback; execute a goal-setting agenda with 360 performance evaluations and oversee the formal performance review and calibration process.
  • Provide guidance and assist in the implementation of business restructures, workforce planning, and headcount modeling.
  • Ability to manage HR processes such as transfers, organizational changes, data and reporting, system changes, and more.
  • Measure and monitor trends and the impact of key HR metrics and dashboards to drive HR needs planning.
  • Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues; ensure manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures; partner with Employee Relations and Legal departments to support investigations, as needed.
  • Leverage the COEs (HR Centers of Excellence) to develop and implement programs that foster employee engagement, D&I, and success.
  • Travel Expectations: Average once a quarter; occasionally may require more frequent.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, as a Generalist or Human Capital Consultant.
  • 2+ years as an HR Business Partner.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, HRIS, Workday, and other technology platform tools.
  • Corporate HR experience in employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and general HR program/operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of direct experience supporting Risk, Investigations, Public Policy, or similar organizational pillars within a high-growth tech startup.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a global or multinational organization and function, with exposure to diverse cultural contexts and business environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, and data visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI.
  • The ability to work autonomously, build strong stakeholder partnerships, and influence without authority.
  • Passionate about telling stories based on both quantitative and qualitative data findings.
