JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Digital Platforms Korea is responsible for managing Korea’s digital platform strategy and Marriott’s Korean language channels. It is responsible for Korea as a source market including understanding key insights around Korean buying behavior and how Korean platforms are developing in market. It’s main goal is to ensure Marriott channels are optimized for the Korean market and we have the right platform, content and functionality for this source market to enable travel globally.

This position will work with Korean market leaders as well as “rest of world” sales and marketing leaders to define optimal content and merchandising for Korean websites, APPs or other platforms. This position reports to the Senior Area Director Of Marketing, Japan, Korea, Guam and The Philippines and works in partnership with the Global Digitalization team.

This position is responsible for the following:

  1. Gather insights on Korea buying behavior and digital trends
  2. Partners with the global digital teams to provide insights and learnings to inform the development of future functionality on Marriott channels
  3. Identifies and manages opportunities to execute via local platforms
  4. Works with sales and marketing leaders locally and globally to understand needs and opportunities for Korea source market.
  5. Manages content and merchandising on Marriott’s direct channels in Korean.

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience 

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5-7 years experience in digital platforms, quantitative analysis and international business

  • Partners with global team on roadmap and execution of functionality for digital platforms
