We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechatronic Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative R&D engineering team located in Gliwice, Poland.

You will be responsible for the development of new technologies in the area of adaptive shocks for the aftermarket in segment of light vehicles.

What you will do:

  • Develop new electro-mechanical interfaces and adaptors,
  • Test and validate above mentioned, prepare test reports,
  • Manage plan of the project, create and execute test plans,
  • Organize comparative tests of existing solutions on the market (benchmark),
  • Generate prototype and production documentation,
  • Report progress of the project, achieved goals and timing,
  • Define the design of new products. Know, develop and apply internal technical standards, procedures and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with Product Management, DFM, quality requirements and all applicable EHS standards/regulations.
  • Recognize patent ability of concepts/designs and potential infringement of new product designs to existing patents (e.g. intellectual property issues)
  • Define and coordinate performance and validation tests. Use statistical analyses tools and DOE (Design of Experiment) techniques, when required. Issue and monitor development reports.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing team (Design for manufacturing/ Design for Assembly) during design development, process development and production phases.
  • Close collaboration with Project Leader, suspension product Engineers,
  • Develop application specific components as per applicable design rules and best practices.
  • Support development of new suppliers and validate their products.
  • Actively looking for missing design rules, propose and release new design rules.

What can make you successful:

  • Master Degree in Mechatronics or Automation and Robotics or Mechanical Engineering with good knowledge of electronics or related
  • Experience: minimum 2 years in Automotive Industry, preferably in designing and/or Engineering
  • Good knowledge of Automotive Engineering, in particular on-board electronics
  • Ability to work in Engineering workshop, installing prototypes in vehicles, have practical experience
  • Knowledge of technical drawings
  • Strong background in mechanical design and/or hydraulics, experience with electromechanical systems is an asset
  • Fluent in English and Polish
  • Readiness to work in team
  • Willingness to travel abroad on an ad-hoc basis
