Job Description

We are seeking a Front End Developer to join our team within the Supply Chain organization. As a Front End Developer, you will play a crucial role in helping design and develop user interfaces for our growing array of web applications. Additionally, you will contribute to the unification of interfaces across our platform, ensuring a consistent and seamless user experience. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create intuitive and responsive user experiences that enhance the functionality and usability of our solutions.

Within our Supply Chain IT, we help make sure everyday use products (like diapers, laundry detergents, disinfectants, soap or shampoos) reach people reliably where and when they need them. As part of our hard work during COVID, we were able to maintain service and meet the needs of people where some competitors could not.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team to translate UI/UX wireframes into well-structured and efficient code
  • Develop user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experiences across different devices and screen sizes
  • Utilize front-end frameworks like React, Vue and Angular to build dynamic and interactive web applications
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and contribute to code reviews

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks like React, Vue and Angular
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating the front end with backend services
  • Experience with responsive design
  • Experience with testing frameworks and knowledge of testing best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
  • Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum framework
  • Good communication skills
