Job Purpose

  • Manage Transmission, Network Planning and IP Development teams. Responsible for planning activities related to Access and Core Transport networks, Fix and Mobile Access backhauling, IP networks and IP Network Security
  • Manage CAPEX and OPEX budget outline and forecasts.
  • Align and co-ordinate local activities with global programs and strategies.

What will you do

  • Day to day management and long-term development and succession planning for department of up to 30 people.
  • Manage teams responsible for design and deployment of transmission and IT technologies and infrastructure for transport of Fix (B2B&Rezidential) and Mobile Access services to support business needs and to meet efficiency and quality standards.
  • Manage department's projects to meet business plan requirements. Determine work priorities. Approve dimensioning rules/guidelines for design, dimensioning and optimization.
  • Prepare overall Capex and Opex budget including re-forecasting. Monitor Capex and Opex actuals spending.
  • Provide support to Director Network Development, Strategic Planning, Finance and Procurement.
  • Provide support to local&global procurement during price negotiations and RFP/RFQ
  • Organize work of the department with the aim to use company resources effectively. Manage the proper and seamless relationship and cooperation between other departments internally and externally with vendors.
  • Ensure Health&Safety rules and business continuity approach are met. Manage and evaluate team performance, motivation and set priorities.

What skills we need

  • Deep technical understanding and knowledge of transport technologies (MW, IP networks, DWDM, FTTx) is a must
  • Good knowledge of Ethernet/IP topics is expected
  • Knowledge of FIXed and Mobile access technologies (2G/4G/5G RAN, XGPON, CMTS) is an advantage
