Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define and maintain the overarching product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and market demands.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research to understand the market, competition, and customer needs, including the latest trends in financial data.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and manage a comprehensive roadmap based on the defined strategy, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Product Specifications: Craft and prioritize detailed product specifications considering the unique requirements of managing and processing financial data within the cube.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Team: Collaborate closely with the Data Warehouse team to ensure clear understanding of the product vision, requirements, and priorities, and to resolve any arising issues or questions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders: sales, marketing, customer support teams.
  • Product Launches: Plan and oversee the launch of new versions or features, coordinating with other teams to ensure a successful launch.
  • Customer Feedback: Regularly solicit, analyze, and integrate customer feedback into the product development process to ensure the cube continues to meet user needs and expectations.
  • Compliance: Ensure the product meets all relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support for internal teams on the product. This might include developing training materials, conducting training sessions, or answering technical questions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior +3 years experience in product management, preferably within the financial industry
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of OLAP cubes, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools. Knowledge of financial systems and regulations is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate product vision, specifications, and feedback to various stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to think strategically and craft a compelling product vision.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial concepts and metrics, as the product involves working with financial information.
