The Position

Job Purpose

The Product Manager is responsible for the management of all of the activities related to the product, through its life cycle, the correct use and all activities linked with the provision and distribution of information on his/her relevant product(s).

  • Prepare short term (annual) and medium term (3-5 years) business plans for the products, determine the marketing strategies of these products, set the product targets such as sales, market share, etc.,
  • Keeps informed and communicates all business developments, all matters related to distribution and use of product(s) and acts accordingly in order to ensure the overall product objectives,
  • Make product launch plans, give information to necessary departments for the pre-launch official permissions etc. and follow up the implementation of such processes, prepare forecast,
  • Prepare business cases to consideration of investment in opportunity area, seize market opportunity
  • Timely prepare the promotional materials which support the product strategy,
  • Conduct market research related to the products under responsibility; take necessary actions by closely following up competition and market conditions. 
  • Organize or ensure active participation to national and local commercial activities such as symposiums, round-table conferences, determine the budget and content of such congress/meetings with department management, ensure an effective presentation by leading such organizations throughout the event.
  • Follow up progresses by being in continuous contact with all decision makers, work in close coordination with regulatory affairs specialist and government relations specialist,
  • Evaluate and reply the on-label information requests and the questions from the market, ensure follow up with related departments when necessary,
  • Timely and accurately meet the information and work requests (KPI preparation, market information, etc.) from regions and/or marketing departments reporting to country organization.

Professional and General Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or diagnostics industry.
  • Minimum one year experience as a product manager
  • Medical/ Biology/Chemistry Degree
  • MBA in marketing management is preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing, presentation skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to travel
