Analytics background & opportunities:
The Firm has over 200 analytics analysts across 19 core service areas ranging from marketing mix modeling to supply chain network optimization. Nearly all our analysts are qualified with advanced degrees in their respective fields and undertake roles such as analysts, data scientists and data architects.
In every analytics engagement, our analysts will be responsible across the entire analytics value chain i.e. task definition, complex data analysis & modeling, data interpretation, generation of insights, client delivery and implementation. They will work alongside experienced McKinsey consultants to help our clients develop a comprehensive, situation-specific understanding of trends and opportunities. This combination of industry, functional and analytics expertise enables our engagement teams to identify the biggest opportunities and to anticipate and address potential barriers to impact – critical inputs towards deriving client recommendations.
At present, the Southeast Asia Research desk has exciting analytics opportunities in three of its operating locations, i.e., Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Depending on candidates’ profile and experience, the team is seeking to recruit both junior and senior level Analytics hires. The role will be client facing and Analytics Analysts will work predominantly with Southeast Asia clients primarily across the following sectors/functions:
