Job Description

OVERVIEW

The Finance Manager is responsible for financial, planning & analysis of NBC Universal’s filmed entertainment and television product distributed in the International Transactional markets, inclusive of electronic sell-through (EST), video on demand (VOD) as well as premium window EST/VOD. The Manager will support transactional business updates and requests, coordinate monthly close processes, and drive efficiencies in growing market. The Manager will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting for international TV distribution film revenue, which includes Universal Pictures, Focus, and DreamWorks. This position will report to the Senior Director and will also be responsible for working collaboratively with the Business Insights team, Sales, Sales Administration, Marketing, Film & Television Planning Groups and Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of financial planning (Annual Revenue Budget & Forecasts, Monthly Pacing & Close, Strategic Long-Range Plan) for transactional market across international territories & NBCU product owners
  • Develop and maintain deal analysis and financial models for local partners and/or Global players (e.g., Netflix, Amazon)
  • Review and summarize financial results against prior plan including identifying major financial drivers and tracking key performance indicators
  • Partner with international business insights team to align on market drivers, while supplying sales teams actuals and forecast data to drive operational results
  • Provide analytical support for ad hoc reporting and special projects
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities for growing business area

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in performing quantitative analysis, forecasting, and/or financial modeling
  • Advanced Excel proficiency

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
