Job Location: Cork - Ireland - Hybrid Working, office and home based

Are you a Software Engineer/Developer that wants to be at the heart of analysing, designing, and programming cutting-edge software enhancements and new products in a collaborative environment, working with multiple Trimble products to help build a next-generation mobile solution to streamline and enhance how our clients use some of our construction project delivery and asset management software platforms.

If you’re a motivated and experienced Software Engineer with demonstrable experience of working in Kotlin to design Android focused Apps, then we have an excellent role working hybridly from our Cork office with international teams of developers based across Ireland, India and the US.

What You Will Do:

As Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software products and applications. Your technical expertise and collaboration skills will help to take our products to the next level.

  • Architect: Lead the way in designing and developing cutting-edge solutions that transcend platform boundaries.
  • Challenge, and be ready to be challenged, by your engineering peers in a high performing team.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product & UX to create great applications that users love.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct robust/ruthless code reviews to maintain code quality, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Mentor: Enjoy helping others to level up, become the 10X Engineer!
  • Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges head-on and solve problems independently

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on Kotlin.
  • Working experience using Kotlin Multi-platform and Compose Multiplatform definite advantage in this role
  • Experience publishing apps to the mobile app stores
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and software development best practices.
  • A passion for software engineering and keeping up with the latest technologies and bringing these technologies to life in production
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
