Assistant Director of Events & Wedding

Job Description

  • Support to the Director of Catering & MICE
  • Effective management of confirmed events.
  • Ensure effective communication with clients while liaising to confirm details of events.
  • Maintain a positive working environment with the operations team.
  • Ensure all Event Orders and associated communications are issued in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a focus on upselling.
  • Ensure all contracts are signed, and outline the proposed event appropriately.
  • Ensure all contracts are in line with event delivery, including addendums as required.
  • Ensure the system is accurate to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Manage existing relationships, including enquiries from past users as appropriate.
  • Ensure effective management of deposit schedules and method of payment.
  • Provide pro-active customer service to our clients.
  • Attend weekly Event Order meetings.
  • Ensure database is maintained appropriately, including use of status in line with guidelines.
  • Team SPIRIT & positive attitude.
  • Attend networking events as required.

Work Experience

  • Strong operation background & able to manage work systematically, well organized.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels especially manage Event team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a full understanding of professional ethics, decorum and social skills required for extensive interaction with customers, investment owners and business partners.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English & Thai.
  • Knowledge & specialist in Opera Sales & Catering
  • Experiences in wedding operation
