Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence (Hexagon MI) division provides solutions that utilize data from design and engineering, production and metrology to make manufacturing smarter.

We are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Commercial Operations team in Ankara, to develop and increase Hexagon MI’s sales within the Central Anatolia region.

As Regional Sales Manager you will work with our metrology product portfolio (e.g. laser trackers, portable arms, metrology software), meet with prospective and existing customers across the region to create new sales and take responsibility for the full sales process from offer to closing.

We are looking for an experienced sales professional who can successfully communicate our value proposition to the customer.

Tasks in detail:

  • Sales responsibility for the Central Anatolia region.
  • Maintain and expand our customer base within your region.
  • Establish realistic sales objectives by creating a sales plan, supporting the national objectives.
  • Resolve problems, identify trends and determine regional sales system improvements.
  • Meet the regional sales objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Daily travelling across the region to meet with customers.
  • Regular reporting of visits, calls, leads and opportunities.
  • Organize product demos for customers, collaborating closely with colleagues from Service, Application and Inside Sales.
  • Establish quotes, and follow them up to ensure that they reach the order stage.
  • Support marketing activities: fairs, exhibitions, promotional events, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Preferably mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
  • 8 – 10 years of successful sales experience, working with metrology or machinery.
  • An already existing network with companies from the aerospace, defence and general manufacturing industries.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong sales acquisition and presentation skills.
  • Completed military service for male candidates.
  • Driving license (B).
  • Fluent/native level Turkish + English at least level B2.
  • Living in Ankara or willing to relocate to Ankara
