Job Description

The primary responsibility of the software engineer is to produce deliverables within the agreed upon scope and schedule by the lead engineer in the team. Qualified candidates need to be a self-starter and able to operate in a highly dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the architecture and design effort for the SDK and Tools product
  • Implement the assigned SDK & Tools features on time with the highest quality
  • Support overall engineering and architecture effort of the SDK & Tools group
  • Write elegant, maintainable, reusable code, leveraging test-driven principles to develop high quality SDK & Tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues
  • Participate in peer code reviews in the team

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of proficient experience working on software products
  • Experience in developing SDKs and developer tools in agile environment
  • Experience with API design and SDK architecture
  • Experience in developers tools like emulators, debuggers, profilers etc
  • Expert level C++ in a production environment
  • Strong functional and automated testing, test strategy and planning and development experience
  • Experience with mobile software development
  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Must have familiarity with Android Open Source toolchains, techniques, and native libraries.
  • Must have familiarity with the Android application component model and embedded IPC mechanisms.
  • Experience with OpenGL is nice-to-have
  • Experience with Vulkan Drivers is nice-to-have
  • Experience with Game Engines is nice-to-have

Education:

  • BA/BS is preferred
