Smith+Nephew is hiring Sales Operations & BI Analyst

This is a unique opportunity to become part of a dynamic team of expert support sales teams with analytics and insights. The position is part of a center of excellence supporting the commercial operations of Smith & Nephew in the areas of Sales Operations, Business Intelligence & SFE.

In this position you will provide analysis (secondary data, primary research, etc.) in order to develop in-depth commercial- and marketing insights. For that it is important to build close working relationships with Sales and Marketing leaders in the country clusters. You will be responsible to provide analysis and reports around essential KPI's and metrics, which can be input for commercial and planning activities or used for continuous improvement initiatives.

This role will support the commercial teams and focusses on the country cluster UKINOR. The position is based in Wroclaw Poland and is reporting to the Sales Operations & BI Manager, also based in Wroclaw.

What will you be doing?

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators for sales teams and management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Sales Performance Analytics:

  • Track and analyse individual and team sales performance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Recommend adjustments to improve overall sales performance.

Sales Incentive Programs:

  • Administer and track sales incentive programs.
  • Provide analysis on the effectiveness of incentive structures.
  • Recommend adjustments to incentive programs based on performance data.
  • Present results back to the business in a structured, data-driven manner - simplifying complex concepts for non-technical audiences.

Sales Targeting & Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to gather data and input for accurate sales forecasting.
  • Use historical data and market trends to create realistic sales projections.
  • Monitor actual sales performance against forecasts and analyse variances.

CRM Management:

  • Administer the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on CRM usage.
  • Customize CRM reports and dashboards to meet specific sales needs.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Have at least 3 years of experience working in business consulting and/or in Commercial Strategy, Marketing, and Sales Strategies areas in an advantage.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and a deep understanding of key performance indicators in a sales environment.
  • Fluent in business English (written and spoken).
  • Strong background in data analysis, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Salesforce, or other CRM systems.
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
