Value Selling Business Analyst

Be a data-driven storyteller: Build financial models, customer deliverables, and tools to showcase the value of Oracle solutions. Drive sales effectiveness and adoption.

  • First employment period as contractor, with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial models that quantify the impact of Oracle products on business outcomes. Update existing models and/or create new ones, partnering with development teams to create calculators and tools that support winning go-to-market strategies.
  • Create insightful discovery questionnaires, surveys, and workshop materials that help sales teams deeply understand customer challenges and gather relevant data. Build customer-facing deliverables that resonate, supporting sales, marketing, and business development efforts.
  • Partner/collaborate with development teams, providing essential business analysis and functional testing expertise for new tools and capabilities. Become a trusted resource for stakeholders, ensuring seamless tool adoption and driving user engagement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, offer support on analysis and perspectives of product benefits and cost comparisons to global teams. Train sales and business consultant professionals on effective tool usage, shaping their success through knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For:

  • Quantitative & Qualitative Skills: You can easily navigate numerical analysis and qualitative insights, extracting meaningful conclusions from data.
  • Business Problem-Solving: You combine business expertise with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, readily tackling complex challenges.
  • Communication Skills: You deliver concise presentations and communicate clearly in English.
  • Action-Oriented & Strategic Thinking: You're driven, proactive, and own logical thinking.
  • Excel Proficiency & Database Understanding: Good command of Excel formulas and pivot tables, combined with database expertise.
  • Global Experience: You succeed in a multicultural environment, having refined your business analysis skills within a global organization.
  • Technical Understanding: Prior technical experience in a sales/operations context and knowledge of cloud technologies is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as business/research analyst/sales operations/business development in a global organization.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong Excel and database skills.
  • Experience with enterprise technology in sales/operations.
  • Cloud technology and competitor knowledge preferred.
