We are seeking an experienced Coordinator with expertise in Production & Post Production, to join the Netflix ANZ Production team. The role involves assisting Production to help manage Netflix Original and licensed titles, with a focus on physical production and post production. The responsibilities encompass managing and monitoring the production and post-production deliverables for our titles, maintaining the slate production calendar and related schedules, and making sure all Production deadlines are established and achieved. The role also involves assisting the Production and Post Production Management team with administration, coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders and industry engagement initiatives. Furthermore, the position requires providing support and recommendations for best practices from development through to final delivery of a title. Collectively, this team is responsible for supervising all aspects of the production processes across the Netflix Australia & New Zealand content slate.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • Set up, schedule and coordinate initial kick-off and ongoing production meetings for productions. 
  • Coordinate the production and post onboarding process for production companies and freelance producers to the Netflix ecosystem, tools, and resources
  • Update and maintain inward and outward-facing production resources, data entry and documents
  • Effectively oversee multiple calendars to ensure that the production team is promptly informed about any scheduling conflicts and resourcing requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Work closely with counterparts in the content team to transition projects from development into the production process, ensuring clarity and communication amongst departments
  • Ability to pick up and leverage internal tools and third-party apps to optimise or automate workflows that enhance team productivity and communication.
  • Design, establish, improve, maintain and document systems that drive production objectives
  • Understanding of how to prioritise and respond accordingly while being an effective communicator
  • Proficiency in the Google Ecosystem suite of apps, particularly Sheets
  • Proficiency in Slack is advantageous
  • Assist production executives in planning and coordinating travel
  • Provide cover for Production executives due to scheduled leave or absences 
  • Any other duties as necessary to support the productions and the department
  • 3+ years of working experience in a production environment
  • Strong passion for the entertainment industry, especially for Australian & New Zealand content
  • Strong curiosity to learn and continue learning the most up-to-date production processes and technology
  • Research, curate, and develop relationships with vendors, while continually analysing cost efficiencies
  • Assist with the identification and curation of experienced, high-quality production staff and crew
  • Ability to handle a fast paced environment and simultaneously support several projects
  • Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent matters
  • Team-player who operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented and cross-functional setting including communicating with other international teams
  • Selfless with an ability to help other colleagues and seek what is best for Netflix and not yourself
  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information
  • Willingness to travel for work
  • Willingness to attend after hours industry events
